Can't forget the frogs

I couldn't forget all of our frog friends. Caleb has named two of our buddies "Hero" and "Little Hero".

We found this little hopper in our driveway. He's one of the bigger frogs we've come across.

Then there is our "peeping Tom" frog. He was trying to watch the Olympics with us one night. (he's hanging upside down on the window in our family room) He was up there for at least 1/2 an hour!

Summer Strawberry

Lauren has been working on successfully eating a strawberry all summer. And then last night she achieved greatness and finally ate her first strawberry. This was the one after.

Backyard friends

"SuperTurtle" was given his name by Caleb. He is our 3rd turtle and our largest turtle we have rescued this summer. We found two of them trying to cross the street~and not in the crosswalk.
Our little hopping friend, I found while pruning this flower in the front yard.

Caleb's First Day at PreSchool

Caleb's first day was on Thursday August 28th. He really likes Mrs. Lowther, his teacher. He has come home singing new songs, talking about his classmates and has sawdust in his socks from playing on the playground. We can't wait to watch him grow this next school year.

The Maixner's Visit!

Madison Ann and Lauri Maixer came to visit us from Hillsboro Oregon! Yahoo what a blast. Lots of fun. We went to the beach (4 hours to and from, but only 30mins on the beach ... lots of rain and wind. booho!), and they went to Asheville. The kids had lots of fun catching up and running around.

Window Coverings

We finally put up curtains in our downstairs family room. It took forever to decide, but we lucked out thanks to Target!

We're in North Carolina

Okay,

This is a "little" late. We moved to NC at the Beginning of March 2008. We had an apartment for about 2 months. Our house in Oregon sold in 1 week and we found a house in Cary in 1 weekend. Wow. God is good!
