Old Buildings

The Book of Kells is believed to have been written in the year of 806 and is housed in the Ground floor-underground-of a library built between 1712 and 1732. Entrance to Trinity College
It's a superstition that if you walk through this monument before you
graduate you'll fail your exams. Our tour guide had exams in a few weeks
and didn't walk through it!

All these multi-painted buildings are awesome...
There are little alleyways with shops everywhere....
Clondalkin Lookout Tower-we came across this walking around looking for a church to attend. We never found the church but found a few towers.

First Day at Apartment

We arrived at the apartment around 9:30am and were planning on leaving our luggage in the lobby until our room was ready. It was already ready and we got a bit of sleep. Yahoo!

Great kitchen when you want to make small meals, or if you want to "keep up" on your laundry everyday (the washer/dryer is the corner appliance with the door in the front).

Mommy (and daddy) getting some sleep the first morning in dublin. Kids got their first taste of Irish TV.

Dublin bound

We made it to Dublin on Thursday morning about 6:30am GMT, 5 hours ahead of EST. We are staying here for 8 weeks, mostly for Jerrold's Work, but will get to see some cool stuff as well.
